Recipe for Loch Neverland Wee Heavy Scottish Ale
E.S.B. - Medfield

  • Grains:
    1/2 lb Simpson's Crystal
    3/8 lb Dingman's Biscuit
    1/8 lb Crisp Roasted Barley

  • Extract:
    12 lbs Gold Malt Syrup

  • Additional Ingredients: None

  • Hops:
    1 oz Fuggles (at Boil)
    1 oz Fuggles (B+15)

  • Yeast:
    1 Wyeast Scottish Ale
    1 Munton's Dry

    Fermentation Schedule:
    Brewed and Primary - 02/18/05
    Secondary - 02/27/05
    Bottled - 03/08/05

    Label Notes:
    This brew was created around the time of the Michael Jackson child molestation trial. He was ultimately found NOT guilty, but there is something creepy about a 40-something year old dude who sleeps with kids, but demonstrating real wrong doing has proven elusive...kind of like finding the Loch Ness Monster. And since it was a Scottish Ale, this one was a no-brainer.
