This tool is called from CEDAR to set the various environment variables used by many of CEDAR's tools. The values are saved in the file cedar.def and is being read in every time the tool is displayed. The user can modify any of these parameters at any time. The changes take effect the minute they are modified. Any changes made can be saved and the new values will then become the default values.
