• atv_state: contains variables describing the display state
• atv_images: contains the internal copies of the display image
• atv_color: contains colormap vectors
• atv_pdata: contains plot and text annotation information

The COMMON blocks in CEDAR_DBEDIT.PRO are for internal use only.

• DB_COM: contains information about the opened database.
• DBW_C: contains information intrinsic to this program.

This routine makes various COMMON blocks available to the user at the IDL prompt. These COMMON blocks were defined in the many tools that make up CEDAR. CEDAR_EDITSESSION does not have any intrinsic COMMON blocks.

This routine restores global variables, previously saved in a file, into COMMON blocks. These COMMON blocks were defined in the many tools that make up CEDAR. CEDAR_RESTORE does not have any intrinsic COMMON blocks.

• TDFD_DATA: defined in GET_EUD_TDF.PRO (structure defined in READ_TDFD.PRO)

The COMMON blocks in COS_LINEFIND.PRO are for internal use only.

• COS_LINEFIND_COMMON: contains variables describing the display state and the data

The COMMON blocks in EDD_VIEWER.PRO are for internal use only.

• VIEWERS: contains the name of the last directory selected when opening a file.

The COMMON blocks in GAUSSINT_FIT.PRO are for internal use only.

• GAUSSIAN_COMMON: contains the resulting Gaussian fit width in pixel

This routine uses the values from this COMMON block which is defined somewhere else. GEN_FITS does not have any intrinsic COMMON blocks.

• EUDF_DATA: defined in GET_EUD_TDF.PRO (structure defined in READ_EUDF.PRO)

This routine uses a common block to save the info between each call and prevent re-reading the Analog Mnemonics file every time.

• ALG_DATA: contains the definitions and addresses of the different symbols.

This routine uses the returned structures from other programs as the values for these COMMON blocks.

• EUDF_DATA: structure defined in READ_EUDF.PRO
• TDFD_DATA: structure defined in READ_TDFD.PRO

This routine uses the values from these COMMON blocks which are defined somewhere else. GET_HEADER_ITEM does not have any intrinsic COMMON blocks.

This COMMON block is defined in this routine and is also used in CEDAR_EDITSESSION, CEDAR_RESTORE, CEDAR_SAVE, SDI_VIEWER and XTTAG_COS.
