The color table used by SDI_VIEWER can be modified using this option. The standard IDL color table manipulation tool is brought up on the screen allowing the user to change to any of the predefined color scheme and to adjust the range and strecth (gamma) used to display the image.
The ZOOM factor used to display a portion of the image in the ZOOM window can be changed at any time with this option. This menu option allows access only to preset values for the zoom factor (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,16,32). The user can select any value for the Zoom factor by using the Set Region menu option described below.
The regions of the data being displayed in the Main Window and the Zoom window can be selected either by clicking on the mouse button in the corresponding windows, or by using the scroll bar if present, or by using this option. When using this menu option, a popup window will appear on the screen allowing the user to enter the desired corner coordinates of the desired region of the data to be displayed. The initial values in this popup window correspond to the currently displayed portion of the data. Any desired zoom factor can also be entered here.
As the user selects regions of the data to be analyzed using the mouse and drawing boxes or regions on the screen, lines are drawn over the data. After a while these may clutter the window. Using this option cleans the different windows by erasing everything and redrawing the data.
